Alright, here goes...Let me fore worn you that what you're about to read could shake the very fiber of your being, so just be ready and promise me that you'll read the whole thing and don't just stop halfway through...Ever since I first started posting on CN and then the Colbinistas I've been worried that you would find some...inconsistencies...with what I've said about myself. If I'm not mistaken, I think I've told you that both February 20 and Sept. 6 is my B-day at some time or another...Well, here's the truth in as plain a fashion as I can muster. My name is James, and I'm 14 years old, about to turn 15 this Saturday. Let me make it clear that I'm really, really, REALLY sorry for lying to all of you about this for this long, but please let me explain how this came about. When I first joined ColbertNation in August of '06 I quickly found out that its members didn't seem to respect you or your opinions if they knew that you were 14 or around that age, so when people began to ask me how old I was, I told them that I was 20 and in college. Don't get me wrong though, what I did was inexcusable and I'm really, really, extremely sorry for lying to you all about this...I completely meant to tell the truth sooner or later but once I really started posting I just kept putting it off and then I became afraid that everyone would hate my guts if I ever told the truth. I really cannot say enough how sorry I am for having you all caught in the middle of this lie...
Once I found out that Met was 16 (17 by now, I'm sure), Hobo was 15 (I'm assuming 16 by now) and of course Zacky being 14 (or w/e) I regretted lying in the first place...Anyways, I also apologize for not posting here at all recently (judging from the looks of the place, no one else has either lol), and if Hobo wants to de-mod me now, I would completely understand. I just hope that someone will see this thread sooner or later...
And now, not to brag, but I'm the youngest poster here (born Sept. 6 1993) and probably on CN too. Now, when you take into account (once again, not bragging
) that I've held my own in debates against 20-something year olds and that I helped write the current iteration of the forum's CoC...well, let's just say it's been fun...
And although my age is different, I'm still really the same person that you've been talking to for the past...oh...two years now...
Now the proverbial weight has been lifted off my shoulders...
